I didn't realize HOW MUCH wedding things you could do in one day - or had to be done at all. My mom has had me going from 8:30 till at least dinner (later tonight) picking and planning and working on this wedding.
Today we took the last full set of announcements to the post office. SUCH A RELIEF. We still have a few more addresses to find and a few more to label but 85% of them have been assembled, stuffed, stamped, and sent - oh and dont forget licked. I never realized how BAD envelopes tasted until I licked 200 in the course of one hour.

Today we started at 8:30 (it still feel slike 5:30 when I wake up for family scriptures...still working on this time difference).
Stop 1: Walmart for random house things because we got to Amherst a little bit early
Stop 2: Frederick's Pastries: for our 10:00 cake testing appointment (why we scheduled to eat cake first thing in the morning I do not know). First they sat down and we figured out what the cake was going to look like. After having a little difficulty I just described my perfect cake and she opened to a picture of almost the exact thing. We altered the design a little bit and then moved on to the yummy part :) There were seven different fillings and a few cake flavors with too many combinations. I'm excited to see how it turns out but needless to say, it was my favorite part of wedding planning so far :)
Stop 3: Lindt Chocolate store. For the welcome baskets for all the out of town guests we're going to have New England themed baskets and given that I love chocolate and Lindt truffles are made right here in New Hampshire, we had to pick up a few little gift boxes (and sample some delicious hazelnut chocolate :)
Stop 4: Picking the linen color for the reception. Its rather hard to do when all they show you are square inch watches of fabric.
Stop 5: Bedford Farms just to glance at some potential details.
Stop 6: Black Forest Cafe - is the cutest little cafe in Bedford with the most delicious food. My mom and I shared a fantastic soup and sandwich combo but were unfortunately too full from all that cake to indulge in any of their mouthwatering desserts.
Stop 7: The Florist: he had five weddings this weekend so we didn't get to talk to him other than to set up our appointment for Monday but I love the scent of flower stores, and am so excited to pick out flowers for the bouquets and the reception on Monday!
Stop 8: More reception decor stores. My mom has incredible capacity for detail and its going to be her vision of this reception that is going to pull it all together.
8 hours later we're home with a to-do list thats twice as long as when we left. Days till the big day:
43
