Wednesday Wedding Details: The Wedding Party

The key to having a fantastic wedding, other than picking the right groom and selecting a competent and inspired wedding planner, is having an amazing wedding party.

For some people that means having just a maid of honor and a best man, for me though, I loved having a large wedding party. Everyone told me to have fewer bridesmaids - but I'm so happy I had the bridal party I did. From the moment we decided we were getting married (far before we were engaged) there girls were key in listening to me ramble, planning wedding details, and throwing fabulous bridal showers and bachelorette parties :) For some of their awesome events check out:
They were all wonderful. It was so great to have Yukino, my best friend since I was five, fly into Boston a week and a half before the wedding. I got to see her briefly last summer but it meant a lot that she could be there and be part of such an important day. Of course my sisters were great. I am so excited to continue to become better friends with them as the years go on..I love them more than anything. My closest cousins on each side (Olivia and Lauren) were dressed in red as well and what incredible memroeis we've had over the past two decades. And then there were the girls: Catherine, Jen, Olivia, and Heather  - who were the real backbone behind everything. They were over helping with preparations, throwing the parties, and coordinating everything. I couldn't have done it quite as well without them!

Chip and Caleb, the brothers are always fun to have around and it was really great to meet Nick and Andrew, Ben's two best childhood friends I'd heard so much about. (Just a note: my whole extended family fell in love with Nick and were trying to think of every available girl they knew to marry him off :)
