Then and Now: Gingerbread House Edition

For our very first date, last December, Ben and I decorated this gingerbread house.

This weekend we made another one, in honor of that very first date.
Please appreciate the snow covered thatched roofs and cobblestone paths.

What a wonderful year it has been :)
Love,
Elisabeth

PS. Which one do you like better?
Do you have any favorite Christmas dates?

They both look equally delicious!! This is my first Christmas with my true love so I guess my fave Christmas date was last night when we went into our hometown to see the pretty lights at Heritage Plantation.

Both of these are so cute (and yummy!). I love that the cobblestone path runs right off the plate! :)

Very cute idea to use the frosted shredded wheat for the shingles. I love gingerbread houses. Happy holidays. :)

I love them both. I never would have thought to use Frosted Mini Wheats as a roof. Very clever idea. :)
