Dinner at the Bretons is like eating at a gourmet restaurant.
Oh but I'm being rude, on Thursday Ben and I had dinner with Jessica and Brigham. They also got married this summer and fun fact: Jessica and I were in the same freshman dorm and Ben and Brigham have been friends for years. We've been meaning to get together for awhile and it finally happened!
Jessica loves to cook. Someday she will have an incredible food blog and I"ll steal her recipes!
Until then, she blogs over at Brigham and Jessica (and I'm OBSESSED with her engagements)
Dinner consisted of perfectly braised beef, small red potatoes, and seasoned asparagus.
Delicious is an understatement.
I was in charge of dessert and brought these babies (Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookies: Recipe). Boy was I glad I'd brought something a little bit more sophisticated than brownies when I saw the candle lit table and beautiful dishes.

I'm allergic to cats but Christopher was captivating. Ben played with him, I photographed.
Overall, a wonderful evening...we'll have to do it again soon Jessica!
