Saturday was a day of eating out and awesome people.
It started with a little blogging lunch at Olive Garden. Is anyone else obsessed with unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks? But anyway, Provo has some awesome bloggers and its fun to actually sit and chat with some of them. It was exciting to hear all about Deidre's wedding plans and figure out Corina and I have lots of mutual east coast friends. Oh, and Jessica and I lived in the same dorm freshman year, and we were in a ballet class together last year! Needless to say, it was a great time - and the plan is to do it again soon :)
After Olive Garden Ben and I just hung out, got some studying done, and then headed to SLC to PICK UP MADISON! I've officially been away from home longer than I ever have since flying back to Utah after Christmas and so I was just a little excited :) We only had a few hours before I dropped her off with the cousins for a week of EFY, but I'll get her back on Saturday for another week of fun. We hit up my personal casual dining favorite, Noodles and Company and all split the family sized Penne Rosa. Gosh, I have the greatest family ever. Its so fun to see my little sisters grow up and become my best friends instead of just little girls who I love despite the fact that they steal my clothes (that shirt I actually let her have, she didn't have to steal).
Do you get to see your family a lot?
Have you become great friends with your siblings?
Do you love meeting bloggers in person?

I get to meet my family once or twice a year because I live far from them and I just miss being with them everyday like way back in high school. I have friends who blog and we meet once in a while but I have yet to meet friends I encountered solely through blogging. I bet it's super fun and exciting.
Good to know that bloggers in your area get to meet up like that :)
Cheers,
Nica
Hi Elisabeth, your weekend looks like so much fun! When I am in the US again I sooo need to go to the Olive Garden! You and your sis look cute together! So how did you find out which other blogger live in your state/area? I would love to organize a blog lunch or event but I am not sure how to find other Dutch bloggers... Of course I do know some but they are mostly fashion bloggers a whole different kind of species ;)
I'm so jealous! We don't have many bloggers around Louisiana-or at least I haven't found them! Looks like fun!
Sadly, I see my family about once a year. I move around a lot and my family can't afford to come see me and vise versa. Someday, I'll make enough money to bring them to whatever crazy destination I live next!!
Even MORE sad is that my sister and I just started getting close. I'm almost 24 and she's 26. We are now reaching the age where we can be friends and I wish I were back in Oregon so we could work on this. But alas, we keep it going on FB and through e-mail.
Have fun with your fam!
I still need to meet your sister! And you're always cute, always.
clearly, it was fun. i love olive garden haha. oh and thanks for the links because now i can find peoples blogs haha.
also your sister is cute and you definitely look older.
my mom and brother are in town right now, it makes me sad i dont get see them every day anymore like i used to.

This sounds like such a fun day! I don't get to see my family a lot since they live on the east coast :( My sister's name is Madison too!! She's 21 though, not little like your Madison! haha. I love meeting up with bloggers. I would love to visit Utah so maybe one day we'll meet up!!
Yay! Thank you for the fun lunch. It was the best time :)
So. much. fun!! Are you a dancer?? Or were just taking ballet for fun?
Me and my siblings are really close...don't know why...we just talk a lot and do a ton of stuff together.
This summer has been so so crazy busy! Let me know when another blogger lunch happens :)
This looks like a blast! Glad you had a good time :)
A Southern Drawl
Great post! I love it! ^^ You have a great blog, mind to follow each other? :)
PS: I don't post shits... :p
See you soon on my blog!
I have no siblings. I spent over 20 years on the west coast, over 3000 miles away from my family. I didn't get a whole lot of love or support from them growing up; my childhood was fraught with emotional and mental abuse by my mother. I have now moved back and I see her, reluctantly, a couple times a week. :(
