Dear Rock,
If only sometimes you weren't so sharp. You remind my fingers how fragile and weak they are. You bite my skin like you're hungry and I would really appreciate if you'd feed yourself before I climb you. I wish it didn't take so much chalk for the two of us to get along, I like you way better on your own. But, thank you for giving us a reason to be outside for hours on end. Thank you for giving us an excuse to spend so much time with dear friends. And thank you for biting me into shape.

Sometimes spending all afternoon rock climbing is wonderful.
Especially if when you're not working the rock, you're fast asleep in a the hammock by a river.

I've never been REAL rock climbing! That sounds like so much fun. I've only ever done the rock climbing wall!
I can hardly climb the 5.8 s in the gym!! You are awesome!!
Beautiful post!!! I really want to go rock climbing!!
I need to learn how to rock climb. I am an avid hiker, so I think rock climbing would be my next feat. Plus, it takes a lot less time to rock climb up a mountain that to find ways around the steep parts! Sometimes I am on a trail and I look at an edge and think to myself, "Man I really need to learn how to rock climb, it would make my life so much easier".
Great post! I love it! ^^ You have a nice blog, mind to follow each other? :)

Exactly why I only "rock" climb indoors. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to venture outdoors. :)
I might try some inside climbing first to get the hang of it. I am moving to Georgia soon, I don't think they have much of a rock climbing scene there.
That's a freaking incredible picture!! And rock climbing is kind of the best.
