When your little sister comes to spend a week with you, you might feel a slight need to give her a taste of your life, or at least your favorite parts of it. If you missed it, hitting up my favorite non-alcoholic bar was a must.
Here are the rest of our adventures:
Rock climbing. If you've been around here for more than a week, you know that rock climbing is part of me and Ben's almost daily routine. We took Madison to brave the great Utah rocks - and she was fabulous!
So proud of you Maddie!
Meandering Around BYU Campus: (art museums)
Another must was the new art exhibit on campus, "Beauty and Belief." It includes hundreds of pieces of stunning Islamic art. Afterwards we couldn't help but take a few pictures with these random additions to the usually conservative sculpture garden :P
Cafe Rio:
Not only is this practically a weekly part of our diet now, but its Madison's all time Utah favorite. (fun fact, we have these friends, and whenever one of the family members is in Utah, they have to fly back cafe rio for the whole family - they're that obsessed).
My favorite is still the steak quesadilla - but we got the pulled pork nachos for takeout for our Olympic opening ceremonies celebration and oh my word, dipped in their house dressing, yum! Its the one place I can ask to go out to eat and guarantee Ben's going to say yes :)
Come back to Utah already, please?
What are on your to-do lists when siblings come to visit?
Would you consider art museum dates fun?
What else should I try on the Cafe Rio menu?
