I've sat here for awhile trying to write this post. But, it isn't a goodbye post - because with real friends, there are no goodbyes, just see-you-laters.
Dave and Sarahjane head to Florida tomorrow so Dave can spend the next five years getting his PhD - which is awesome. Florida is warm, sunny, and beautiful - but oh so far away. These two have been there every step of the way for me and Ben: from our
first kiss, to
our wedding, to the countless
weekend dates and
climbing trips.
Who in the world is going to keep me sane during the long hours of outside climbing? Who is going to convince our husbands to go out to dinner or justify going shopping? Who is going to motivate to keep my house clean just because theirs is consistently spotless? Who is going to sit with me and analyze marriage or gush about babies?
Speaking of babies, they're going to have the two cutest kids by the time they're back from Florida - calling it right now :) We miss you two already - hurry back k?
Thank goodness for skype and Christmas breaks. Oh and graduation trips to Spain? Plus a few domestic vacations thrown in there - yeah, this friendship isn't over :)

I love the kinds of friendships which don't fall apart even when one "half" moves away. :)
I hate when friends move away, but it just makes for a new place to visit them at :D
what a blessing to have such a close friend - but so sad they are moving! goodbyes are definitely not fun!

I know how you feel! It's so hard to be away from friends, but at least we have technology to help us!
Aww, I'm sorry that your best friends are moving. My best friends are all over the place, so I feel your pain.
But hey that gives you a great reason to come to Florida! It's a pretty fun place (not that I am biased or anything!) ;)
It's bittersweet to move awy from your best friend! I know the feeling :( but hang in there just plan tons of trips :)

Aw I'm sorry to hear your friend is moving. At least you have lots of communication available and an excuse to travel. Best types of friends are definitely those in which distance doesn't matter :)
